Backflow Testing & Prevention

The majority of sprinkler irrigation systems in B.C. are connected to a potable (safe for drinking) water supply. This potable water supply could consist of a city water main, a well, or any other source of drinking water supplied by your local water purveyor. Backflow is any unwanted flow of water in the reverse direction, which typically causes undesirable substances like animal feces, herbicides, and fertilizers used in your yard to contaminate your drinking water. Backflow can happen whenever the pressure in your water tank is lower than the water system’s pressure. We can inspect your irrigation system and assess the risk of backflow to give you the peace of mind you need.
